After pruning the branches are collected and burned with the leaves. Larger branches are sawn as wood for the stove.
Rules and details
The burning of the pruning is strictly regulated: from October to mid-May, in the morning to 9:00, max 5m2, max 3m3 branches.
The olive leaves also contain a lot of oil which causes the leaves to burn very quickly.
Although the burning is CO2 neutral, I hope to have water in the Campo for 2 years, so that I can compost the leaves.
